The new terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport will begin operations in November.
Terminal A, referred to as Midfield Terminal Building during construction, is one of the largest airport terminals in the world, spanning across 742,000 square metres.
The terminal will be able to accommodate over 45 million passengers in a year, process 11,000 travellers in an hour, and operate 79 aircraft at any time.
The facility is equipped with biometric systems, self-service kiosks, streamlined security checkpoints and baggage handling systems, making travel convenient for passengers. Additionally, the terminal features lounges, relaxation zones, spa centres, and 163 retail and food and beverage outlets.
