Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has launched an 'Hourly Rental' service on their dedicated app, where passengers can book cars and limousines to travel between multiple locations, with a single booking.
Available at any time throughout the week, passengers will be able to guide the driver to various locations of their choosing, without having to switch between vehicles.
Passengers can opt between three vehicle options, black the affordable ride service, electric for a sustainable mode of commute, and DTC XL great for groups. Prices vary based on the destination selected. Additionally, prices for the limousine services start at Dhs 400 for 133km for two hours, and extra charges apply after the distance and time limit are crossed.
This is one of the recent features added to the DTC App, to enhance the passenger experience. With the 'Meet Me Here' feature on the app, individuals can share their location, route and estimated time of arrival with friends and family, to easily meet at the set destination.
Passengers can also benefit from the 'Lost and Found Service', where individuals that have left their personal belongings in one of the vehicles, can communicate with the driver, and arrange a time to collect their lost items.
Additionally, DTC offers the 'In-Safe Hands' feature, where parents living in areas that cannot be accessed by school buses or are unable to make school trips, can pre-book taxis for pick-ups and drop-offs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, through the app.
