Dubai International (DXB) is set to welcome around 3.3 million passengers, over the next 13 days.
An average of 258,000 passengers will travel daily to and from Dubai, and 26 and 27 August are expected to be the busiest days, welcoming over 500,000 travellers on both days.
To make travel easy for passengers arriving, here are some tips to follow:
- Children aged 4 to 12 years old can use the dedicated passport control counters to stamp their passports at Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
- Passengers travelling with their families and children aged 12 years old and over, can use the Smart Gates, rather than waiting in line at passport control.
- Passengers travelling from Terminals 1 and 3, can use the Dubai Metro to quickly reach their destination, as the roads to the airport get busy during peak travel times.
- DXB also offers other modes of transport for easy commute in Dubai including Uber, Careem, RTA Taxi and rent-a-car services.
- Individuals picking up passengers need to use designated car parks and valet services, as the arrivals area is only accessible for public transport and authorised vehicles.
Passengers can also make the most of the amenities at DXB including lounges, dining and shopping areas, and Dubai Duty-Free.
