Back by popular demand, 'Camping in the Rainforest' is making its return to The Green Planet in City Walk, Dubai from Friday, 30 May to Saturday, 1 November. The weekend-only sleepover transforms the indoor biodome into a thrilling nighttime escape, packed with exploration, nature, and immersive learning.
Each edition is designed to spark curiosity and deliver a new side of the jungle, complete with torch-lit treks, animal encounters, and guided storytelling, perfect for families with children.
Here’s what’s coming up:
- Jungle By The Moonlight: Every Friday and Saturday, starting from 30 May until the end of June, guests will enjoy a peaceful night walk through the rainforest led by expert biologists. As nocturnal creatures awaken, visitors will encounter marmosets, snakes, and night birds in a calm, sensory-rich environment.
- Rainforest Rovers, Expedition Edition: In July, families become explorers for the night, taking part in scavenger hunts, animal feedings, and hands-on activities. With flash lights in hand, young adventurers will uncover the secrets of the rainforest alongside The Green Planet’s expert team.
- Legends Of The Green Planet: Where storytelling meets science, this magical edition, taking place during August, features interactive tales, jungle-themed crafts, and close encounters with creatures that inspired the legends, including birds, porcupines, and creepy crawlies.

All the camp editions include after-hours access to The Green Planet, a guided night tour, interactive animal encounters, family-friendly games, a delicious buffet dinner and breakfast, and hands-on educational activities led by rainforest experts. Campers will also receive a unique themed badge or sticker, a special memento to take home after every adventure.
