Dubai Police have arrested 181 unlicensed street vendors and have seized vehicles that sell vegetables and fruits by the street for not meeting health and safety standards.
The arrests took place from mid-March to 25 April and were conducted as part of the efforts to maintain the image of Dubai and ensure the safety of the public.
As the products are not quality checked, their origin is not known and can be expired, it can affect the health of the buyer, and the public has been advised against buying from street vendors and to shop from licenced sources.
