Dubai International (DXB) maintains its rank as the airport with the highest volume of international passenger traffic for the 9th consecutive year.
The rankings are according to the annual report published by the Airports Council International for the year 2022.
Over 66 million passengers travelled through DXB in 2022, with a growth of 127% compared to 2021.
London Heathrow Airport ranked second after Dubai, moving up the ranks from 7th place in 2021.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Istanbul Airport were among the top five, after DXB and London Heathrow Airport, for international passenger traffic.
