Dubai Customs has launched the 'Al-Furdah Hands' initiative, which aims to provide 10,000 meals to people throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The initiative will see 2,500 meals distributed every Saturday in the Rashid Port area to individuals that are driving and unable to break their fast before the Maghrib prayers.
On 1 April, 150 volunteers from Dubai Customs, along with their families, students from the Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai Police General Traffic Department and people of determination from the Senses Center, participated in distributing the meals.
The initiative is in line with the values of Ramadan, which encourages kindness and compassion to people, throughout the Holy Month.
