Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the temporary closure of certain main roads in Dubai, including Sheikh Zayed Road, to allow for the thousands of participants of this years Dubai Run.
From 4am until 10am on Sunday 20 November:
- Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed from Trade Centre Roundabout to 2nd Interchange
- Lower level of Financial Centre Street will be closed
- Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard will be closed
To make access to the run easier for participants, the RTA also announced that the Dubai Metro will extend it's operating hours on Sunday 20 November and trains will begin to run from 3.30am.
Runners taking part the 5km run are advised to arrive for the run at the Emirates Towers and Financial Centre stations, and those taking part in the 10km to arrive at either Max or World Trade Centre stations.
