Get ready for the fourth edition of one of the biggest fun runs, this weekend, the Dubai Run.
Held as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the run will be held on 20 November, with a 5km and 10km route available.
The 5km route will begin at the Sheikh Zayed Road, near the Museum of the Future, and will pass by the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Opera and ends near the Dubai Mall.
The 10km route will start at Sheikh Zayed Road, heading to the Dubai Canal, before going towards the Trade Centre and ending on Al Mustaqbal Street near DIFC.
Official numbered bibs can be collected from:
- Ibn Battuta Mall at the India Court, near the Elephant Clock
- Dubai Hills Mall on the 1st floor, near FitnGlam
- City Centre Deira on level 2, near Aloft Hotel
The bib collection will be available from 17 to 19 November.
Participants need to arrive by 4am for the 6.30am slot, and the Dubai Metro will operate from 3.30am to reach the start points.
5km runners using the Dubai Metro should get down at the Emirates Towers or DIFC metro stations, with the 10km runners heading to World Trade Centre or Max metro stations.
Limited parking will be available near the metro stations.
Water stations will be provided at the event in partnership with Mai Dubai, and will also have the used water bottles recycled into sustainable clothing.
