Emirates Expecting Busy Start To 2021

WAM

Emirates is expecting a busy travel period to start off the new year. On 2 and 3 January 2021, Terminal 3 will see an increase in Emirates travellers, with over 70,000 passengers expected to depart and arrive on Emirates flights through Dubai.

In order to avoid traffic congestion, passengers are advised to allow extra time to ensure a smooth journey. It is also advised to check the latest travel requirements to the set destination and to arrive at the airport three hours in advance.

Passengers arriving in Dubai should check the specific entry testing requirements from the country they are coming from.

Travellers should be there no less than 60 minutes prior to their scheduled flight departure or they will not be accepted for travel.

Those that opt to check-in online are reminded to visit the Emirates check-in counters at the airport to collect their boarding pass and to verify travel documents required for each destination country. They can also check-in online 48 hours to 90 minutes before flight departure.

Passengers are also urged to use the convenient self-check-in and bag drop kiosks for a more seamless airport experience. The service is available to all destinations except to the US, Canada, China, India and Hong Kong.

Passengers can check the latest COVID-19 travel and specific testing requirements for their destination at www.emirates.com.
