Grand Plaza Mövenpick Hotel has created a replica of the Dubai Frame with 4,600 pieces of gingerbread.
The gingerbread installation exceeds more than 5.5 metres in height.
This stunning 5.5-metre gingerbread installation is on display at the Grand Plaza Mövenpick Hotel lobby and took over 1,500 hours to make.
The installation was built under the direction of Executive Chef Marco Amarone, Chef Baljit Kumar and pastry Chef Shahabuddin Ansari, with the help of over 20 culinary and engineering experts.
This is the biggest Dubai Frame recreation and is made entirely out of gingerbread and icing. The Dubai Frame display goes in hand with the Christmas decorations being set up for the Winter Wonderland Festive Brunches, which also consist of a 5 metre high Christmas tree as well as a festive kids zone.
The property’s General Manager, Alfio Bernardini, said, "Dubai embodies a philosophy of endless possibilities and we wanted to recreate an iconic landmark that hasn’t only been awarded a Guinness World Record but that symbolises prosperity and unity. Hence, during this festive season, we want to make sure all our guests experience moments full of joy, prosperity and hope.”
