The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted an increase in relative humidity levels tonight especially in the UAE’s coastal and internal areas, reaching a maximum of 80-90 percent.
Mountainous regions of the country will experience a maximum of 65 percent humidity and temperature highs of 32-26°C as the weather remains mostly clear, with partly cloudy skies today.
UAE residents experienced poor visibility on Sunday morning as fog covered many parts of the country in the early hours. A weather alert had been issued last night by the National Centre of Meteorology warning residents of poor visibility.
Temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 43-47°C today with coastal areas experiencing temperature highs of 39-43°C.
Light to moderate winds will blow across the country through the day and the sea along UAE’s coastline will remain relatively calm according to the country's weather bureau.
NCM further added: “Humid by night, and Monday morning over some western areas, with a probability of mist formation."
