Nurseries To Reopen

The Ministry of Education (MoE) and the National Emergency and Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced that nurseries can open on condition they meet health and safety requirements and procedures.

Nurseries were some of the first places to close in March this year

The re-opening requirements in place to ensure the health and safety of children and staff include measuring temperatures, regulating the movement of staff and parents' entry and mandatory testing of all staff with a coronavirus COVID-19 test every 2 weeks.

The health status of all children in nurseries and childcare centres will be monitored closely.
