The field hospital set up at Dubai World Trade Centre to treat patients of coronavirus COVID-19 has discharged its last patient after testing negative for the virus.
Set up in April this year, the field hospital at the 1.3 million square foot exhibition and events centre, initially had 1,000 beds with the capacity to go up to 3,000 beds if necessary.
As the last patient, Hiroaki Fujita, has been discharged, the field hospital will now close.
