Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the 1.3 million square foot exhibition and events centre on Sheikh Zayed Road is being prepared into a filed hospital to be help handle an increases in coronavirus COVID-19 cases.
Dubai currently has capacity for over 4,000 cases across its hospitals, and the new facility will increase that capacity by a further 3,000 beds.
The field hospital in the heart of Dubai will open with initially 1,000 beds with more continually added to take it up to 3,000.
