The seventh edition of the Dubai Comedy Festival will take place from 9 to 18 October 2026, bringing ten days of multi-language live entertainment to venues across the city. Advance registration is now open on the festival website and public ticket sales expected to commence on 14 July 2026, with the initial line-up featuring prominent international stand-up comedians and regional theatrical productions.
Performances are scheduled across major local venues, including the Dubai Opera, Coca-Cola Arena, and New Covent Garden Theatre, Mall of the Emirates.
The stellar line-up of talent includes British comedian Mo Gilligan, who brings his world tour to Dubai Opera on 12 October, and Emmy Award-winning comedian Vir Das, scheduled for the Coca-Cola Arena on 18 October. The programme also introduces Hindi-language performer Jamie Lever on 10 October and a Kuwaiti Arabic comedy production, 'Mohandis Al Thauq Al Aam', running at Dubai Opera from 9 to 10 October.
Catering to the multicultural population of the UAE, the ten-day festival will feature performances in several languages, including English, Arabic, Hindi, and Russian. The annual event has grown steadily since its inception in 2015, establishing itself as a major fixture on the autumn entertainment calendar for residents and international tourists alike.
