More than 160,000 participants logged over 290 million steps across local shopping destinations as the second edition of the Dubai Mallathon officially concluded. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the three-month wellness initiative ran from 15 June to 15 September.

Organised by the Dubai Sports Council alongside the Ministry of Defence, the campaign aimed to encourage regular exercise during the hot summer months. The edition expanded to eight major destinations across the emirate, introducing venue additions such as Dubai International Airport, DIFC, and Ibn Battuta Mall alongside regular partners like Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif. The programme featured 14 weekly community races, dedicated events for Emirati Women's Day, and a full 42km indoor marathon and 21km half-marathon hosted inside Dubai Mall.

The initiative directly aligns with the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033 and the Dubai Social Agenda 33 by transforming everyday public spaces into accessible community fitness venues.
