Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the 'UAE Year Of Award' has been officially launched, to celebrate community initiatives and family achievements across the country.
Overseen by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, alongside Her Highness Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairperson of the Presidential Court for National Projects, the initiative establishes a permanent national framework to preserve the legacy of every annual UAE Year Of theme.
Submissions on the the award platform are open and applications will remain open until 10 September 2026 via the official portal.
The award programme evaluates entries across three core pillars, Impact, Sustainability, and Inspiration, and features five distinct entry categories:
- Main Award
- Collective Contribution
- Government Champion
- Private Sector Champion
- Civil Sector Champion
Families across the Emirates are encouraged to submit stories of positive social contribution, while private businesses, government entities, and civil organisations can register specific projects. Selected winners will receive national recognition during the annual UAE Government Meetings.
The award offers a direct avenue to gain official recognition for grassroots projects, corporate social responsibility drives, and civic initiatives that benefit local communities.
