The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced that mosques and other places of worship can reopen.
The gradual reopening allows mosques and other places of worship to allow people in for prayer up to a maximum capacity of 30%.
The health situation will be constantly assessed and mosques and places of worship where any cases are detected will be immediately closed and the necessary measures taken.
Friday prayers in mosques will remain suspended until further notice, and mosques will be closed on this day only.
