Conditions that need to be in place for the reopening of schools, nurseries and universities across the UAE have been announced by the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry of Education said that plans were in place to reopen educational establishments after the summer break, however to contain the spread of coronavirus COVID-19, certain measures are to implemented.
The measures suggested include temperature checks for all students and staff on each morning and maintaining social distancing of 2 metres at all times which will mean less capacity on buses and smaller class sizes.
Premises are to be regularly sterilised, meals are not to be shared, and large gatherings including assemblies and school trips will be limited or suspended.
The announcement of the plans considered follows a recent announcement that schools were likely to reopen again in September.
