Increased restrictions on movement have been announced in Abu Dhabi, and for one week from today, Tuesday 2 June, travel in and out of Abu Dhabi will not be allowed.
Also, within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, travel between different regions such as between Al Ain and Abu Dhabi City, is also banned for one week, however movement within the different regions is still possible.
For any essential travel, Abu Dhabi Police have introduced a permit system which allows residents to leave and enter Abu Dhabi if absolutely necessary to do so.
The stay at home hours of 10pm to 6am each day are still in place.
