Licensed premises in Dubai have been given permission to serve alcohol again with certain limitations in place.
Alcohol can only be served when food is ordered and can only be served at tables, and no bar service is allowed.
All beverages must also be served in disposable plastic glasses.
The easing on serving alcohol comes into effect from the end of Ramadan which is not yet confirmed however is expected to fall on Friday 22 May or Saturday 23 May.
Bars and restaurants in Dubai were asked to close from middle of March as part of preventative measures in place to contain the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.
