The Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, have approved the partial easing of some restrictions in place as precautionary measures to contain the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.
The easing of restrictions allows for the opening of parks and hotel private beaches, however with strict enforcement of specific preventative measures. In parks no gatherings are allowed to exceed more than five people and hotel private beaches are open to paying guests only and also have to enforce strict preventative measures including physical distancing among guests.
In shops, refunds and returns will now be allowed, and fitting rooms will now also be open as long as strict precautionary conditions are observed.
Some sports and recreational activities are now also possible in some open spaces, and also limited to up to five people at a time and includes cycling, water sports and sky diving.
In all cases the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management has emphasised the need to continue to follow all precautionary measures advised and in place to contain the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.
