Emirates Could Resume Services From Start Of July

Dubai based Emirates Airlines will not start operating any scheduled commercial flights until 1 July at the earliest. In a revision of its planned routes, Emirates has indicated that the first stage of resuming commercial operations will be limited flights to some destinations for the start of the third quarter of this year, and as demand grows, increasing frequency.

This is a change to earlier planned routes, which showed some flights commencing in the middle of May.

Though bookings are possible through Emirates website, the schedule is not confirmed and is dependent on a number of factors including the necessary approvals, and could possibly be changed again.

Some passengers booked to fly before 1 July have been informed of the cancellation of their flight.

This is different to the limited one way repatriation flights and cargo flights that Emirates is running to certain destinations.
