As part of the National Disinfection Programme run by the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Ministry of Interior as part of the measures ro contain the spread of coronavirus COVID-19, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has fully suspended metro and tram operations until any further notice.
Meanwhile, the public bus service will be free for passengers provided they use a Nol card, and the amount deducted from the card for taking the bus during this period will be added back after seven days. Taxi fares are also reduced by 50% to support those who must go to work.
