The National Disinfection Programme that began on 26 March and was extended until 6am on 5 April will continue indefinitely.
The Ministry of Health Prevention (MoHAP) and the Ministry of Interior (MoI) have announced that the programme will continue daily from 8pm until 6am the next day, as part of the measures taken to contain coronavirus COVID-19.
During the hours of the daily disinfection programme, movement will continue to be restricted. The importance of cooperation by the general public to facilitate the programme was stressed by MoHAP and MoI, and everyone is urged to stay home from 8pm each night until 6am the following morning, unless absolutely necessary to obtain essential food supplies or medicine, or those that work in vital sectors.
