The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, TRA has updated the list of online stores that "reflects the increasing appeal for online services."
The online stores on the list include large shopping centres and cooperatives, as well as grocery stores, meat and vegetable shops, and other services.
The upgraded list includes 6 new online supermarkets and three new online stores to order fresh fruit and vegetables.
A total of 66 per cent of participants, in a survey carried out by the Department of Economic Development in Dubai last year, expressed confidence in online shopping while 70 per cent trusted online payments.

TRA has added six more online supermarket stores to list of 22 Supermarket online stores published earlier which included: Union Coop, Carrefour, Amazon, Noon, Supermart, Westzone, Lulu, El Grocer, Talabat, Soopamarket, Bawiq, Instashop, Trolley, Dukani, GoGrocery, Sharjah Co-op Society, Emirates Co-op, Safestway, Swan, Mir.Delivery and Valuecart
New 6 stores are Sanadeez, BulkWhiz, EatEasy, NarinPort, Rashen and FalconCity Markets
6 applications to order Meat and Fish include Martin's Meats, Spring Bok, Tari Fresh, Zabehaty, Tazj and Almawashi and 11 applications to order vegetables, fruit and fresh food include Kibsons, NRTC Fresh, Qualityfood, Farmbox, freshtohome, Organic F&C, Green, Kinda, Karakoy, Casinetto and Baladialain. Four mobile applications to order water home are Waterwa, Masafi, Mykom and MaiDubai. Three pharmacy apps are Talabat.com, 800 Pharmacy and Life Pharmacy
