As part of the ongoing preventive measures against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has directed the suspension of all events involving large gatherings from Sunday 15 March till the end of this month.
DTCM has directed all entertainment destinations, hospitality businesses and wedding halls to suspend all events including large gatherings from Sunday 15 March till the end of the month.
Popular Dubai theme parks including Motiongate Dubai, Legoland Dubai, Legoland Waterpark Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai are also closed from Sunday 15 March until the end of the month.
The situation will be re-assessed on 31 March to decide on operations' continuity.
It was recently announced that popular tourist destinations in Abu Dhabi, including Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Yas Island theme parks, are also closed from Sunday 15 March till the end of the month.
