With a long weekend coming up, it is expected that almost 200,000 passengers will fly from Dubai International Airport (DXB) with Emirates, and the Dubai based airline has issued some important advice and information.
Due to the high volume of traffic expected over the next few days, to avoid the risk of any issues, passengers are advised to arrive at DXB at least three hours before the departure of their flight.
The peak travel period is expected to begin on Thursday, 28 November and Friday, 29 November is expected to be the busiest day with and estimated 40,000 passengers travelling from Dubai.
The busy period will continue until 5 December.
The statement issued by the airline said, “Passengers are encouraged to build in extra travel time to avoid any delays with expected traffic congestion around Terminal 3 during this time."
