Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has opened a new Mother and Child corner within its head office, that aims to give their women employees an exceptional working environment to do perfect jobs.
Ms. Moaza Al Marri, Executive Director, Office of the Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, Chairperson of Women Committee, RTA stresses that the new facility is different from ‘My Child’s Nursery’.
Ms. Moaza Al Marri adds, "It is focused on external emergency conditions experienced by children of working mothers, which might have a direct impact on their mothers’ performance due to mental distraction."
The centre is also equipped to address the "psychological concerns" of working mums. The facility is designed to international standards and has edutainment means suitable for children ranging from infants up to 10 years old.
