A 40-year-old Pakistani manager molested a 22-year-old Filipina woman who responded online for a job advertisement.
The manager offered to pick her up from a metro station and take her to the Business Bay office where the interview was set to take place.
Once they reached, he grabbed the woman, hugged and groped her and asked her if she was married or had a boyfriend.
The Filipina asked the man to stop so she could go to the bathroom and immediately sent a message to her brother on WhatsApp.
The Filipina and her brother called the police who apprehended the defendant shortly after.
The Dubai Court of First Instance ordered jail for three months to the accused for ensnaring a woman for a false job interview and molesting her.
Presiding judge Fahd Al Shamsi said the accused, who had pleaded innocent, would be deported after serving his punishment.
