The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) has announced that five higher education institutions (HEIs) have joined its automatic degree recognition initiative, bringing the total to 38.
The initiative allows students graduating from participating UAE-based universities to receive instant, automatic recognition of their degrees without having to submit an application. This is done through a real-time integrated electronic system. The aim is to help graduates move more easily into postgraduate study or employment without any extra recognition procedures, while also improving their readiness for the next stage of their academic or professional journey.
The service applies to degrees issued by UAE-based HEIs. The move also allows users to verify qualifications from MoHESR-accredited institutions through an approved QR code, which officially confirms recognition according to established regulations and procedures. The ministry said the expansion builds on the success of the proactive service since its launch, and that efforts are continuing to include more institutions.
