Dubai Police were crowned champions of the UAE Rescue Challenge 2026 after winning first place in both the Road Accident and Trauma challenges. The two-day event was held on 15 February at the training city in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai. The event brought together 15 specialised teams competing in realistic emergency simulations aligned with international standards.

The competition featured two main tracks. The Road Accident Challenge included complex and standard scenarios, with eight teams competing. The Trauma Challenge involved seven teams of paramedics responding to critical injury cases.

Participating entities included Dubai Police, Civil Defence, Sharjah Civil Defence, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, National Ambulance, the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, and the National Guard.

In the Road Accident Challenge, Dubai Police Team B claimed first place, followed by Dubai Police Team A in second place, while the General Directorate of Civil Defence secured third.

In the Trauma Challenge, Dubai Police bagged the first place once again, followed by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services in second, and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence in third.

Major General Dr Ahmad Zaal bin Kreshan Almuhairi, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, congratulated the winning teams. He also praised all participating teams for demonstrating professionalism, discipline and strong team spirit, highlighting the high level of readiness maintained by rescue units across the UAE.
