His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, extended his condolences after the passing of veteran photographer Ramesh Shukla.
The royal photographer, renowned for capturing the rulers of the UAE since 1971, passed away on Sunday, 15 February, at the age of 87, due to a cardiac arrest.
Shukla documented the UAE’s transformation for decades, from the early days of the nation’s formation to milestone events and national moments.
Sharing a video tribute, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan said that Shukla devoted six decades to the Emirates and its people with deep loyalty and love.
