The UAE is set to experience cooler temperatures, strong winds, and rough sea conditions over the coming days, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The weather today will be dusty and partly cloudy, particularly across coastal and northern areas, along with a noticeable drop in temperatures across much of the country. Wind speeds may reach up to 60kph, with very rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and rough conditions in the Oman Sea. The temperature in Dubai is expected to reach highs of 23°C and lows of 20°C, while Abu Dhabi is forecasted to experience highs of 23°C and lows of 18°C. The unsettled weather is expected to persist through the weekend.

The sea will be very rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough to moderate in the Oman Sea. The temperature in Dubai is expected to reach highs of 23°C and lows of 20°C, while Abu Dhabi is forecasted to experience highs of 23°C and lows of 19°C.
Sunday, 18 January: Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some coastal and northern areas at night. The condition is expected to turn humid by night, with a probability of fog and mist formation in some internal areas on Monday morning. Winds will be moderate, reaching a speed of 40kph. The sea may become rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea. The temperature in Dubai is expected to reach highs of 24°C and lows of 19°C, while Abu Dhabi is forecasted to experience highs of 23°C and lows of 18°C.
