Dubai is preparing to welcome 2026 with special celebrations, and part of the city’s festive plans includes adjusted opening hours for public parks and recreational spots on 31 December 2025 and 1 January 2026.
The Dubai Frame will be open from 8am to 9pm, offering visitors the chance to watch the traditional fireworks alongside an inaugural drone show.
Several major parks will also stay open late so people can enjoy outdoor activities and views of the celebrations. Al Safa Park and Zabeel Park will operate from 8am until 1am, while Creek Park and Mushrif National Park are set to welcome guests from 8am to midnight. Al Mamzar Park will open earlier, starting at 6am and closing at midnight.
Residential neighbourhood parks and plazas will keep their gates open from 8am to midnight. For children and family-oriented spots, Children’s City will be accessible between 9am and 8pm, and Quranic Park will welcome visitors from 8am to midnight, with its Cave and Glass House section operating from 9am to 8.30pm.
Lake parks across the city are also extending their hours on 31 December, operating from 8am to 1am. These include Leem Lake Park Hatta, Al Wadi Park Hatta, Ghadeer Al Tair Pond Park, Al Barsha Pond Park, Al Twar Pond Park, Al Nahda Pond Park, Al Khawaneej Pond Park, Al Warqa Third Park 1, Umm Suqeim Park, Al Khazan Park, Al Satwa Park, and Al Quoz Park 1, will remain open later than usual.
With these extended hours, everyone can take in the city’s festive atmosphere and enjoy outdoor spaces while celebrating the arrival of the new year.
