Planning to head to Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) this New Year's Eve? You can use the tram service to skip traffic and arrive on time.
Dubai Tram will run throughout New Year’s Eve, making it easier for people heading to the JBR New Year’s fireworks celebrations. The tram service starts at 6am on 31 December and continues until 1am on 2 January, helping visitors enjoy the festive atmosphere along the beachfront.
Thousands of people flock in to enjoy one of Dubai's most popular free fireworks displays near Ain Dubai and JBR public beach. In addition, fireworks can also be seen from Bluewaters, offering several viewing points for spectators.
The Dubai Metro will also operate non-stop for 43 hours during New Year's Eve, with extra services at major stations close to celebration areas, such as Emirates Towers, Financial Centre, World Trade Centre, Business Bay, and Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall.
Authorities urge visitors to use public transport, follow official updates from the RTA, and keep informed of any instructions for safe and smooth travel.
