Dubai Municipality has announced that drone shows will be held at the Dubai Frame for the first time as part of New Year’s Eve 2026 celebrations, adding to the city’s festive attractions alongside traditional fireworks. The event is designed to offer a memorable visual experience that highlights Dubai’s iconic landmarks and technological innovation.
This is a part of a broader celebration that will feature fireworks displays at 40 locations across the emirate, with a total of 48 fireworks shows planned for the evening.
In addition, Dubai Municipality has also announced that public beaches in Dubai will be designated for families only on New Year’s Eve, in order to ensure family-friendly celebrations.
As part of the preparations, 14 public parks will extend their operating hours until 1am so families can enjoy the festivities in a safe setting.
