The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation called on private sector companies across all the UAE to exercise caution and take precautions at work on Thursday, 18 December and Friday, 19 December due to the expected weather conditions.
The Ministry stressed the importance of safeguarding the health and safety of workers, particularly those engaged in outdoor work, where adverse weather conditions can prove risky. Employers were urged to assess risks carefully and take appropriate preventive measures to protect employees.
MoHRE also called on companies to fully comply with occupational health and safety standards both during working hours and while employees travel to and from worksites. The Ministry emphasised that proactive planning and strict adherence to safety measures are crucial in minimising risks during periods of severe or unstable weather.
