Abu Dhabi and Dubai will witness a drastic change in the weather this weekend. Cloudy skies, scattered rain showers, and windy conditions will prevail from 12 December to 19 December, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Temperatures are expected to drop to 24 degrees by Sunday in both emirates.
The NCM, in a recent update, said the UAE will be influenced by an expanding surface low-pressure trough, accompanied by a deepening upper-air low, resulting in increased cloud formation and a likelihood of intermittent rainfall. This means you can expect scattered showers in different parts of the country throughout the week, starting 12 December. Rainfall may be light to moderate, so watch out when going outdoors.
The seas are also expected to be rough, so watch out if you're heading to the beach.
