The UAE is set to embrace cooler temperatures in the coming week, thanks to a surface low-pressure system from the south-east.
The low pressure has caused a gush of cool air, leading to a drop in the temperature. Everyone can expect cloudy skies with scattered rainfall in the coastal, northern, and eastern parts of the country from today until Saturday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Sea conditions are expected to remain calm in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman. Early morning and late-night hours may bring a bit of humidity and fog after rainy spells, thereby reducing visibility. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally fresh.
The NCM advises everyone to stay alert to changing weather conditions, especially if you’re travelling to coastal areas or driving in the morning hours.
