One of Dubai’s fastest-growing airlines, flydubai, is set to make flying more enjoyable for travellers starting this winter. Beginning November, all Economy Class passengers will receive complimentary meals and in-flight entertainment built into their ticket price. Until now, Economy Class passengers had to pay extra for these services. The change reflects flydubai’s commitment to improving the customer experience and comes as the airline continues expanding its global network
Travellers can look forward to destination-inspired menus, featuring light snacks, beverages, and dishes influenced by regional flavours from Africa, Europe, India, the Middle East, Russia, and Southeast Asia.

The airline’s in-flight entertainment system now includes more than 1,000 movies and TV shows from major studios such as HBO Max, BBC Kids, and Cartoon Network, along with music, games, podcasts, and digital magazines.

However, ticket prices might also reflect these changes. As Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai said, "By including meals and in-flight entertainment in every ticket, we’re modifying the Economy Class fare structure and ensuring passengers get more value, while remaining competitive".
