The Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment (RLSE) has opened applications for its new scholarship programme, offering opportunities for academically outstanding students entering Years 7, 8, and 9 in the 2026-27 academic year. Applications will be accepted from 6 October to 7 November via the school’s official website.
Founded in the 1980s, Rashid and Latifa Schools have long been recognised for producing distinguished leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, and an alumni making up nearly a fifth of the UAE Cabinet.
The scholarships are open to both Emirati citizens of Dubai and expatriate students, with selection criteria extending beyond academic excellence to include leadership potential, athletic talent, creativity, public speaking, and expertise in technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
The new RLSE campus is the largest in the Gulf region and features Olympic-standard sports grounds, AI and e-sports labs, a world-class theatre, and dedicated facilities for Arabic and Islamic studies
