Dubai International Airport (DXB) turned festive on 23 September as the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs celebrated the ninety fifth Saudi Arabia National Day with warmth and flair. The event highlighted the close bonds between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, reflecting a deep-rooted partnership that extends beyond borders.
Arriving passengers from Saudi Arabia were met with smiles, flags, and commemorative gifts that showcased Emirati hospitality. The airport’s smart gates glowed green in honour of the occasion, while children were delighted by special souvenirs handed out by mascots ‘Salem and Salama’.
Adding to the spirit of unity, travellers’ Saudi Arabia passports were stamped with a unique logo carrying the phrase ‘UAE-Saudi, Together-Forever’, symbolising the enduring strength of ties between the two nations.
The gesture reflects Dubai’s commitment to people-first initiatives that celebrate culture, strengthen relationships, and make every journey more memorable. For travellers, it was not just a passage through the airport but a warm reminder of the friendship binding two neighbouring nations
