Dubai is setting its sights even higher, with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, calling for intensified efforts to make the city the best in the world across every sector.
Speaking at the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed urged entrepreneurs, government officials and private sector employees to work together to launch initiatives that create sustainable, cohesive and future-ready urban living and said, “We want every official to redouble their efforts, set clear benchmarks, and ensure rapid, measurable progress towards this vision”.
The vision includes reducing pollution, enhancing cleanliness and aesthetics, building vibrant spaces that balance culture, leisure and economic activity, and also promoting positive values and tolerance.
At the heart of the directives is a focus on people’s well-being, with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed stressing the importance of family cohesion, social harmony, and work-life balance.
The Leadership Forum, attended by over 1,000 leading figures from government and private sectors, featured strategic discussions and workshops on Dubai’s economy, culture, future city development and digital transformation.
