Sharjah has declared three days of mourning following the passing of Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a member of the ruling family. The announcement was made by the Court of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Funeral prayers took place at 10am on Tuesday at King Faisal Mosque, with the burial held at Al Jubail Cemetery.
Condolences for men will be received at the majlis of Sheikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi in the Al Ramla area of Sharjah for three days starting today.
Flags will fly at half-mast across the emirate during the mourning period as Sharjah pays its respects.
