Dubai Health has secured a major international accolade, achieving Epic Gold Stars Level 10 for its electronic medical record (EMR) system. The recognition, announced at the Epic User Group Meeting in Wisconsin, USA, places Dubai Health among the top 3% of healthcare institutions worldwide using the Epic platform.
The Gold Stars Program is a 10-level framework that measures how effectively institutions adopt and integrate Epic’s advanced EMR features. Level 10, its highest rating, is awarded to organisations utilising more than 95% of the system’s advanced capabilities, an achievement few have reached globally.
Launched in 2017, Dubai Health’s Epic system unifies patient records across its hospitals and health centres, giving clinicians instant access to medical histories and test results. This integration reduces delays in diagnosis, ensures more accurate treatment, and delivers a seamless experience for patients.
This milestone reinforces Dubai’s position as a global leader in healthcare innovation, combining cutting-edge digital tools with patient-centred care.
