Slightly Higher Temperature And Humidity Expected This Week

The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a slight increase in temperatures and humidity across the country this week, with foggy conditions expected during early hours.

Daytime highs are set to climb gradually, with temperatures reaching around 39°C through the week and 40°C on Sunday, according to the NCM.

Detailed breakdown of the forecast: 

Wednesday
Cloudy at times with a slight increase in temperature. Humidity to cause fog and misty conditions during late hours and early mornings. 

  • Dubai: High of 39°C predicted during the day, night-time low of 30°C. Humidity to peak at 90%.

  • Abu Dhabi: Day-time high of 39°C, low of 29°C after dark. Humidity to go up to 85%.

Thursday
Partly cloudy with high humidity. 

  • Dubai: High of 39°C during the day, night-time low of 30°C. Humidity to go up to 85%.

  • Abu Dhabi: High of 40°C, low of 29°C. Humidity reaches 90%.

Friday
Cloudy conditions to persist. Humid conditions likely to cause fog and mist formation during night and early morning.

  • Dubai: High of 39°C predicted during the day, night-time low of 29°C. Humidity to peak at 90%.

  • Abu Dhabi: Day-time high of 40°C, low of 28°C after dark. Humidity to go up to 70%.

Saturday
Humid conditions with chances of fog and mist formation at night and early morning. 

  • Dubai: High of 38°C during the day and low of 30°C at night. Humidity to reach up to 90%.

  • Abu Dhabi: Day-time high of 39°C, low of 27°C after dark. Humidity to reach 90%. 

Sunday
Probability of fog and mist formation during early hours due to high humidity
