Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a partnership with Terra Tech, a regional startup, to introduce battery-swapping stations for electric bikes across the city. The initiative will be rolled out in key operational zones, offering delivery companies access to fast and efficient charging solutions.
The move is part of Dubai’s broader sustainability drive, with the goal of cutting carbon emissions by 30% by 2030. By integrating a network of 36 new battery-swapping stations across Dubai, the project aims to reduce operational costs for delivery operators while promoting the shift to zero-emission fleets.
