Fog And Rain This Week In Parts Of The Country

The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast foggy conditions in parts of the country, particularly in Abu Dhabi, with visibility expected to drop during early mornings. NCM also predicts rainfall in eastern and southern parts of the country, including Al Ain. 

Here's a breakdown of the weather forecast this week:

Wednesday
Cloudy conditions and rainfall predicted in eastern and southern areas including Al Ain. Winds will be light to moderate but may freshen during the day, causing blowing dust. Humidity during late hours to cause fog and mist formation. 

  • Dubai: High of 43°C predicted during the day, night-time low of 31°C. Humidity to peak at 80%.

  • Abu Dhabi: Day-time high of 42°C, low of 31°C after dark. Humidity to go up to 80%.

Thursday
Eastern and southern areas, including Al Ain, will see cloudy conditions with chances of rainfall. Fog and mist formation also predicted during early morning and late hours. Freshening winds will also cause blowing dust during the day.

  • Dubai: Temperature to reach a high of 41°C during the day, and a low of 31°C after dark. Humidity to go up to 80%.

  • Abu Dhabi: Day-time high of 43°C, low of 31°C at night. Humidity to reach 85%.

Friday
Cloudy conditions to persist along with mist and blowing dust. Temperature to decrease slightly in eastern parts of the country such as Al Ain and Fujairah. 

  • Dubai: High of 42°C predicted during the day, night-time low of 32°C. Humidity to peak at 80%.

  • Abu Dhabi: Day-time high of 43°C, low of 32°C after dark. Humidity to go up to 80%.

Saturday
Partly cloudy with slight decrease in temperature and humidity to be expected.  

  • Dubai: Temperature to reach a high of 42°C during the day, and a low of 29°C after dark. Humidity to go up to 75%.

  • Abu Dhabi: Day-time high of 44°C, low of 31°C at night. Humidity to reach 75%.
